Kralendijk dining make people remember this
Harbour Village Beach Club members and guests enjoy sumptuous dining in a spectacular seaside setting at La Balandra Restaurant and bar, featuring Chef Alberto Roldan, delighting guests with his original creations since 1992 at Harbour Village.La Balandra, designed after an antique Spanish ship, gives guests the feeling of sailing on the Caribbean sea with it's dining deck located on a jetty extending out to sea, overlooking the resort's private white-sand beach. It's breathtaking location; creative specialties and nautical decor have made it a guest favorite for years. La Balandra offers Breakfast, Lunch, Cocktails and Dinner. Beach Service is also available. The candlelight dinner on the beach, also popular with couples, may be arranged upon request and guarantees an unforgettable dining experience. Casablanca Restaurant has announced the launching of a new weekly event, "Dushi Boneiru Night", at their Bonaire restaurant, which features their popular grilled meats and a show by noted Bonaire photographer and writer, Albert Bianculli. Each Monday evening from 6:00 PM through 10:00 PM, the restaurant will be serving All-You-Can-Eat Argentinean Grill featuring unlimited pork chops, authentic chorizo sausage, chicken, steak, and ribs. Fish can be substituted upon request. Side dishes and dessert (choice of ice cream, sherbet, or fruit cocktail) are included. Reservations are highly recommended and can be scheduled for anytime beginning 6:00 PM, when diners can enjoy a cocktail, choose their table, and then view the show at either 6:30 or 7:30 PM. Dinner can be before, or after, either showing. Photographer Albert Bianculli will provide an excellent overview of the island in his two evening shows, highlighting Bonaire's special interests above and below the water. Viewers will find his spontaneous talk enjoyable and educational. The nearby Kon-Tiki resort has a nice restaurant. They have live entertainment a couple of times a week. It's worth the trip; this is a sparsely populated island and guests are always made to feel welcome. It's recommended that if you want to dine at a particular restaurant on a given day, especially for dinner, that you make reservations. During normal periods, it may suffice to place your reservation the same day as your intended meal, but for waterside dining, it may be a good idea to call a day in advance. The front desk at the hotel you're staying in can help you with this. Making reservations is also a good way to make sure that the restaurant you desire to dine at will be open. Most Bonairean restaurants (except those at hotels), tend to be closed one night a week.
